The ACT Integrity Commission provides interesting and challenging work and offers a range of flexible working conditions to balance each individual’s circumstances with the needs of the organisation. The Commission also supports staff by providing learning and development opportunities.
The Commission recognises that enhanced flexibility in attendance and working arrangements has the potential to deliver benefits to staff and the Commission itself. The Commission seeks to optimise those benefits by fairly balancing the interests of all stakeholders.
Section 50 of the Integrity Commission Act provides that the Commissioner must not appoint a person as a member of staff of the commission if the person is or has, in the 5 years immediately before the day of the proposed appointment, been an ACT public servant.
Staff are engaged under the terms of the ACT Public Service Administrative and Related Classifications Enterprise Agreement 2018-2021 (the Enterprise Agreement). The Enterprise Agreement provides a range of flexible work practices such as flexitime scheme (for staff members below Senior Manager), negotiated hours of employment and part-time work.
The conditions of employment of staff members are those contained in the ACT Public Sector Management Act 1994 and related Public Sector Management Standards except as provided in the Enterprise Agreement.
