We can investigate any current, or former, ACT public sector officials or entities. This includes employees, contractors, and anyone else who delivers services for, or on behalf of, the ACT Government.
A public official is any person who performs an official function, or acts in an official capacity, for the ACT Government.
Public sector entities include the ACT Legislative Assembly, the ACT public service, and other ACT public sector bodies and statutory entities.
Who we cannot investigate
We cannot investigate matters relating to public sector entities from the Commonwealth. This includes state or territory jurisdictions (outside the ACT) unless there is a relevant connection to the ACT.
We cannot investigate matters relating to ACT Policing or the Australian Federal Police (AFP). Reports concerning ACT Policing or the AFP should be directed to the National Anti-Corruption Commission.
